Attn. Hair Stylsits-- ? about trimmers
 

Ok I need a new set of hair trimmers. I had Andis chargable trimmers (and lost the charger) and i wasn't a huge fan of them. I was thinking about getting the Wahl bullet, even though it has a cord. I figure, you only use them for a couple minutes... could the cord be that bad?? I just want a crisp clean cut. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!

I hate, hate, hate chargable trimmers. They just aren't powerful enough. Go for the cord.

Wahl is always a good idea. I havn't used a bullet but I have a wahl peanut right now and I've been really happy with it. Best part is how easy it is to change the blades. But for home use that shouldn't be as big an issue.

thanks!! i was told the peanut and the bullet are very similar... so i'll probably go with one of them :)

I've been barbering the last 6 years and do not recommend chargeable trimmers. If you are looking for something on the cheaper side Wahl peanuts do the job just fine. Oster makes really good trimmer too but they are pricey. The downside to peanuts is they have to be replaced often. They get extremely loud after a while and are hard to clean.
