Default nose piercing!

I really want to get my nose pierced but, for some reason I'm nervous...

I've had my cartilage pierced on my ear, I've had my lobes pierced (I was 4) and I pierced my lobes 2 more times myself.

I've had my bellybutton pierced, I've gotten 2 tattoos....and I've delivered a baby vaginally after 24 hours of labor....

It shouldn't be a big deal, right???

LOL - I have to laugh cuz when I opened up your post, the advert to the right of the page showed belly button rings!

What do you fear? You've faced childbirth, right? No biggie...

My nose is pierced. I just wear a tiny stud with a diamond. If you could stand the pain from all of the things you mentioned, this is a piece of cake. I also had babies without pain killers and have my ears pierced numerous times, including the cartilage.

It stings just for a second and it will automatically make your eyes tear. You have no control over it, it's not from the pain. I swear to you, for me, it healed the easiest of any piercing I had, and there was very little pain. Make sure you have it done at a reputable shop, which I'm sure you already know.

Good luck, I bet it will look terrific. I love mine and I'm 47 y/o.

My nose is pierced. Piece of cake compared to child birth. The pain is minor and over within a second.

I actually had to remove my original piercing for a job. When I went to have it redone, I had a lot of scar tissue. Even with that it wasn't bad.

Go for it! I love mine.

Thanks! I just turned 25 last week, and my Sister in-law said she would take me and pay to have it done as my birthday present. She's has been encouraging me to do it for a while now...and I think I'm finally ready!

My daughter pierced her own nose....while I ran into a store to get more Christmas wrap...I thought I was going to kill her..because she did it herself...it actually looked cute with a little diamond stud after it healed...

I've wanted to get my nose pierced since high school... I finally decided to a couple of months ago and love it My eyes watered, it hurt a little... but it healed quickly and I haven't had any sort of infection or pain.

I had mine pierced for about a month a few years ago. I don't remember the pain being anything special. I do remember my eyes watering and I squished up my face after. I have a lot of piercings in various places and two tattoos. Haven't given birth though! lol. I took mine out because I kept catching it on the towel after taking a shower and ripping it out. Also because my ex liked to stick his fingers up my nose (/sigh.. men..) and he kept forgetting my nose was trying to heal. So I said screw it! And took it out.

Had mine done twice. It's nothing! I think my tattoo hurt more than my nose and that didn't even hurt that much!
I loved it, I think its so sexy. But I had to remove it last week sadly
Go for it!!! It won't hurt..

I got mine done last year shortly after I turned 40 and I wish I'd done it 20 years ago! I am a WEENIE when it comes to pain - the place I went to used a needle, I know some places use a gun. It did sting, and my eyes did water, but so, so very worth it!!!!!!!
