I just absolutely LOVE this show! :love: Anyone else watch? I'm sitting here watching the top 20 announcements and am almost giddy! I'm not a dancer myself, but watching all of the different styles and seeing how strong and coordinated all the competitors are, it's so fun and inspirational! It's one of my favorite shows all year and DEFINITELY of the summer! Season 8 is shaping up to be a good one!

I LOVE SYTYCD!!! I danced when I was younger, but never achieved the level of these amazing kids. I'm glad dance is becoming so mainstream. It's hard to make it in any artistic career, and the better exposure they have the better chance they'll have for a career.

I love this show too - all the girls this year look so amazing!! For some reason, the guys don't seem to stand out as much this year, but I am sure that will start changing once they start the regular season.

I don't watch many competition shows very often, but I actually appreciate the dance shows so much more than the singing shows.

Some of those people are ridic when it comes to dancing! I sit there like this O.O ....

I like to watch the auditions. I would kill for a figure like any of those girls. Well, not kill, but you know what I mean. :)

It's one of my favorite shows, though I really don't like the new judge. I like to watch the show with my family, as there are very few family-friendly shows out there and one of my little girls adores dance, but she was completely inappropriate last night with one of the comments, and I'm glad my kids didn't watch that part.

I am a big fan. I agree, this season looks really strong. I really liked the intro format of having people dance together in same type groups. I am also happy they went back to the 20 contestant format.

I also love that they aren't total sizists and that Natalia made it to the final cut because she is such a great dancer. I can totally see that a show with tons of lifts would be very tough for her, but the fact that they not only didn't deride her but didn't dismiss her either for being bigger than a normal dancer was awesome.

Ohhh I love it. My dad and I watch together, he gets more in to it than I do.
I love that it's usually the male hip hop dancers that turn into the amazing contemporary dancers.

I do love the dancing on this show. I wish the judges wouldn't make it so much about THEMSELVES. Ugh. :rolleyes:

I would kill....bugs for a figure like them!

If Maks could lift Kirstie Alley, guy dancers should be able to do lifts with Natalia.

I so agree with you. I think it was still at token for them to keep Natalia until the last cut but it would have been more real if they kept her for the show. It might have meant that the choreographers would have to step up their game a bit. I still love to watch the dancing.

love the show too. wow, what a bunch this year, I agree. and I agree that they spend too much time panning to the judges and missing chunks of the interesting routines. amazing to think of being that much in control of your body and how it moves(!)

I get so excited when this show begins again!! Love it! I think everyone can find appreciation in this show! It's gonna be a great season!
