Default I got asked out on a legit date!!!!
And NO, this isn't an April fools joke. Lol.

I was out having drinks with friends last night and one of the guys in the group I was with spent a lot of time chatting with me and asked me out at the end of the night. And he didn't say "Hey, you seem cool. We should hang out some time." He actually said "If you're interested, I'd really like to take you out on a date."

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've been formerly asked out in my adult life (I'm almost 25). Usually I am the one who asks the guy out. Or we just spend a lot of time together and kind of just end up as a couple.

He seems like a cool guy, he's employed, and has his own place, so that's nice.

Just thought I'd share the happy news.

ah, yes. i remember when i was asked out on my 1st date. september 2009. it was EPIC.

... but turns out he just wanted me for my holes. so, be careful of that.

most guys who ask me out just want me for my body. the slimmer i get, the moreso; just 1 of the very few downsides of being thin, though. ahahaha.

I'm very used to guys just being interested in one thing. And honestly, in the past, that was how I knew how to get guys to like me. I'm working on NOT doing that anymore.

ah, i see. meh. the way i see it, there's tons of holes out there. some hotter & some not. if the jack-*** wants, he can go w/ someone who's desperate. but they probably won't be as hot. oh well. what can ya do.

Thanks everybody! I'm definitely going to take it slow and I'm not someone who ever settles. So if things work out it'll be because he's a genuinely good guy.
