wow everyone, thank you! you can't tell in the pics but when i put them down by my sides there's this like... lump of fat halfway down my upper arm and it's so visible and i just hate it! i'm hoping the sparkles take away attention from my arms ;)

Don't be self-conscious. That is a great dress! Nobody will be looking at your arms. Most people are too worried about themselves to pay attention to other people's arms. I know I was horribly self-conscious in school, but that was time wasted when I could have been enjoying myself. Have a great time at the prom!

If it makes you feel better though, you can self-tan your arms/upper body, and that will make them look slimmer. (I may have done this in the past... ;)

The dress is gorgeous and you look awesome in it. I think you could easily find a gorgeous scarf to go with it if you want, but I agree with everyone else, you do not need one to cover your arms.
