Great Day, New Smaller Clothes. YAY

    I have been in serious need of some new clothes since losing weight so today I went shopping.

    I went to Lane Bryant first and actually let them size me. I've never been sized before and I was shocked at my actual size. I'm a 36F. I've been wearing the wrong bras (DDD) for the past several years and the amazing part is the "girls" have gotten smaller since I've lost the weight and they are still huge... sigh. LOL

    I got some smaller tank tops. I was wearing 1XL and I went down to an XL. A couple of nice tops and two pairs of jeans. I'm pretty happy that I can now fit into size 14 jean. I haven't been able to wear a 14 since I was 17 or 18 and I am 26 now.

    My husband and I went to Fuddruckers for lunch. I had a plain elk burger. It was great. I did have a few french fries but I'm not going to freak about them.

    I really had an awesome day!

    New wardrobe!
    That's great on getting some new clothes and at a smaller size. Keep up the good work.

    I'm not a shopper for clothes. In fact, I actually hate looking for clothes!! My husband won't go with me anymore, because he says that I get really grumpy after a day of clothes shopping!!!

    And, then there is the bra shopping!!!!
    OMGosh that to me is the absolute worst!!! I know that I'm wearing the wrong size bra just by seeing it on me with the extra material, the sagging sides, etc. But, it's okay for now.

    My DH told me that he will buy me a new wardrobe when I reach my goal.
    And, my parents say that they will take me shopping, too.
    I'm stoked.

    Keep going......think of the new clothes you'll fit into!!

    Kelli, I am the same way. I hate trying clothes on! It was worse when I was bigger because I had such a hard time finding cute clothes that fit. Now that I'm shrinking I am enjoying it a little more. That's awesome that you DH and parents are going to buy you new clothes at goal. Definitely something to look forward to!

    Getting sized for bras was a huge step for me because I've been so embarrassed by how large my boobs are my whole life. I have been teased and humiliated by people and I didn't want a stranger to see my actual size.
