Lots of work, No motivation
I've found I'm really stuck right now. I've got a lot of work to do for my degree as well as revise for exams and I just can't bring myself to start it. I know it's all down to me to just get on and do it but I just seem to be stopping myself.
E.g. I've got a dissertation to write on domestic violence and I don't have enough respondents. There are ways to get around it but I'm kind of letting it get to me more than I should and I seem to be waiting for more responses rather than just getting on with it. It kind of stressing me out and I'm avoiding it. It seems so strange that I am being so successful with what I eat and the exercise that I'm doing, it's almost like all my motivation is going into that and there's none left over for anything else. I'm fixated with food at the moment. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm fairly new to this effort and I'm hoping in a week or so I'll calm down and just get on with everything else. :dizzy: |
Well focus on your school work dummy. You've come so far and you're almost finished. Just premake your meals so you don't have to think about it and grab one when it's time to eat. You don't have to put all your focus on it. School comes first.

Thank you guys, that really helped and I've done over 1,000 words today which doesn't sound a lot but it is a 12th of my project AND kept on track with my eating and exercise :D

Think of the end result. Keep in mind what is important....your studies and your weight loss. YOU CAN do/handle them both. :write::lifter: Get up in the morning and say, "I'm gonna have a productive day today." :coach: You go girlfriend  Kelli |
