WOO-HOO!!!! Another win for my Sox!!! :cheer2: Listening to the Rockies right now, hoping they bounce back from their loss last night as well as the Sox did.

Just checking in with a question--
Any of you ever travel alone for games? I usually go to Red Sox home games alone. But would love to experience a new ball park, such as Camden Yards since I'd be able to get cheap tickets to see the Sox play the Orioles and it would be a cheap trip from where I live. I just don't really have any experience traveling alone, so it may be difficult. Any suggestions or personal experiences that you would like to share?
Meanwhile, Sox start 1-7, but they'll win their next 6 and be back to .500 in no time ;) haha

I have. I went to KC for the Sox series two summers ago. I drove home (central IL) and then drove back here via KC. Went to two games and the Royals fans were super friendly. I stayed at the Sox hotel which is in Country Club Plaza. Went to dinner in the Plaza and saw many of the Sox players out and about. It was a GREAT time though I wish I would have had a chance to explore the area / KC a little more. I plan on going back though so I'm sure I will eventually.
I found out all the info about the best places to stay, what to do, etc. from people on the White Sox message board I belong to. While I'm sure you will get a lot of good information here, I think if you visit the Red Sox message boards (Talk Sox, Sons of Sam Horn and Red Sox Nation) and pose your question there, you will get the best information for a great BoSox experience in another city. Have fun!
