I used Allan Carr's Easy Way book and I did quit cold turkey for about a year. Really good book but it didn't work for me a second time round.
Been off the cigs for a week now with the help of nicotine lozenges which has worked well so far. Only problem now is I like the lozenges too much. Drinking when trying to stop smoking is also a big problem. Have a drink, want a cigarette. I haven't had a drink for a month now. Just go for it and be tough with yourself. You've got the willpower to lose weight, you've got the willpower to stop smoking. |
