Caroline we lost to them today 7-2 but game was called because of rain.
Berkman has a sore elbow and leg. But it's Spring Training and he will be ready to go Opening Day. Or so they say. |

I started a new job last week, so I've been out of touch for awhile. I honestly don't know how the Rockies are doing. :) Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Cards played the Sox today. Lost 8-7. Was he safe or not? Any of you north easterners see the game? What do you think? That's a silly question :) |
Feeling a little bummed today. I should be in Phoenix today watching the Scrubs at Sox with a good friend, the tickets are in my kitchen, but I thought it would be better not to spend the money since I couldn't find a reasonable flight. This is the first time in 3 years I haven't been down for this game. :( At least it's a televised game though watching might just bum me out more. Oh well, it's a chance to watch my boys, not letting that pass.
The only redeeming quality is the Sox are here for a series in June. So I am "patiently" counting down till then...109 days! :D |
Gosh I wish I could just hop on a plane to Arizona. The Cactus League is calling my name, and so are the San Francisco Giants!

I had tickets to a round of March Madness, with my son/sil/nephew year before last in Anaheim... he could not understand why I would take a week day off (w/o pay) to watch...of all things...BASKETBALL!...with my son/sil/nephew but he did let me...of course he knew I would quit if he didn't..... Our company gets free tickets all the time from the "suits"...our boss never tells us until later.... I work for him because he pays me well...not 'cause he is a nice guy!... but, he isn't ALL :devil: either....:D |
