Vacation--Should I go?
I have a chance to go to Mexico next month. But I am fat. Ugghh!! Would you go??????
Um, vacation is for the soul. So yeah. Go. Fat doesn't matter. :) Plus you could walk a lot, so you'll get lots of exercise.
Please, please don't skip out on something because of weight. That is how you miss out on life. I am having to push myself into things because I also want to stay home and hide "till I lose the weight" but ya know what? Ten years of this and...I've only gained. But I've missed out on a LOT. GO GO GO. Enjoy yourself. Please, do you think you'll be the only fat person there? Not at all. Use this to motivate yourself to stay on plan for the next month and have a great time when you go!
Yes. Never stop living because of your weight!
Ditto! Ditto! Ditto! What's the saying? Life doesn't begin 5 pounds from now... or 10 or 15 or whatever your number. I hope you decide to go!
Add me to those saying "GO!" Life is too short.
Enjoy your vacation, try to eat reasonably. Swim a lot - it's a good exercise. |
HEck ya, get packin girl, your GOING on VACA!!! :)
GO! I went to Paris at 300 plus. :)
Absolutely go! I have always found losing weight is easier when I treat myself nicely, I'm sure a holiday would help that.
Yes, yes, yes !
Please don't even question the decision! Go!! Have fun!!
Of course you should go. Grab your passport and have a blast.
What, they don't have fat people in Mexico? ;) You should so go! I hope you don't restrict yourself from enjoyment and fun just because of your weight. Live it up! :D
Yes! Go! Do not let your weight stop you. My first trip to Thailand last year I was so freaked out about wearing a bathing suit for the first time in about 5 years but when I got there I felt silly for being so worried. When you're on vacation you're usually in a more relaxed mind frame as well as those around you. I learned quickly in Thailand that it just does not matter. I actually had a woman come up to me and try to sell me a bikini! Proudly proclaiming that they had many in "my size" (bless her heart). Of course I was mortified thinking who on earth would don a bikini with my jelly and in public no less? And you know what? later that day when I went the beach there were plenty of people happily wearing their "my size" bikinis. I didn;t buy a bikini but I didn't worry so much about what I looked like either.
Just go, have a good time, and don't let your weight cause you to pass up an amazing opportunity. |
When the chance appears, catch it
