a lot of thrift stores just put out the local stuff they collect so it's worth it to drive to richer areas.

I cannot WAIT to go on my thrift store shopping spree!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the things that you can find there. I will never buy jeans from a regular store again unless they're those special edition jeans like Express used to have every Christmas season. I just can't see spending over $3 for jeans anymore!

There's such a variety and I'm a very "retro" dresser (I've been told, I guess I just like the style) so it's easy to find things I like a lot there.

However, there will be other stores on my tour. But not for jeans!

I hope I come across a extremely good find like yours!

The best is finding things in your size with the tags still on. I love that feeling. I've bought clothes I probably wouldn't even wear just because the tag was still on.

I bought my Christmas shirt from Goodwill this year. It was cheaper than paying my friend to mail last years down from her house and it looked super cute. I'm lucky. There's a Goodwill within walking distance from my house. Or is that unlucky since they always have great stuff.

That's definitely Goodwill's policy. I have gone to 5 or 6 different ones and found better stuff near Lake Norman than Statesville. The one thing that surprises me is that the Lake Norman store is priced higher too for household goods. I now only go there for clothes.
