So, the hospital called today with the schedule for my husband heart surgery.

Check in on the 4th for pre op, surgery on the 5th and dismissed on the 6th or 7th.

*Deep Breath here*

He's been battling the a-fib condition since March. Blown thru all the medication. Without the surgery, life won't get any better.

The surgery is not relatively risky, and the results are generally good.

It does for us however mean traveling and several nights of being away from home.

We're relieved to have a surgery date, but scared too.

The surgery is a specialty, but low risk with high success. Will get him off the drugs and off the bad side affects of the drugs.
