Now they want toxicology reports on the dogs.
I've previously posted about the dog mauling case for my former neighbor. Her attorney got yet another continuance until the end of Jan. He is claiming that the D.A. hasn't turned over copies of all the evidence. From what I understand, that is a common claim.
Why would they want toxicology reports on the dogs? |
Most likely to see if they've been exposed to any illegal drugs. Meth being the big one.
if they've been cooking meth in the house or smoking a lot of pot, it will show up. |
Also, sometimes drugs are given to dogs who are being raised to be fought, so they'll likely check for that.
I don't know what breed your dogs are, but if they are a large or "bully" breed (see me not getting all psycho-tangent on that? I think I've grown) they will be extra cautious. |

Her dogs were pit bulls. Found out that at one time, she and her ex had 10 dogs. They were told to get rid of 7 of them and spay or neuter them all. Obviously they didn't follow up with that because when we met them they still had 7 or 8 dogs. |

It will be interesting to find out. |
