NuvaRing and weight loss

So I have officially began being on birth control today. I have never in my life used any type of birth control besides condoms. I have always been afraid of the side effects of birth control, especially of gaining weight. So ladies, if you dont mind sharing, have you been on the Nuva Ring and did it affect your weight???

Thats good to know, it seriously has been my biggest fear when it comes to bc. Well weight gain and blood clots.

I used it for about a year with no problems at all.
