gym class - in college :(
 

I started an 8 week mandatory PE class today (in college! ugh)

Due to health problems unrelated to being overweight, I will be unable to do most of the exercises. However, we will still be required to do a weekly weigh in (with other members of the class right there)... and the one I'm most worried about is the skin fold tests. I've given birth to 3 10 pound babies in a course of 4 1/2 years. I have a TON of saggy loose skin on my belly and side. There is no way I'm going to allow anyone to see that or measure it!


I wish there was some way to get out of doing this class. :(

Sounds like you need to talk to the instructor. They may allow you to come in and do your measurements at another time.

If they won't, bring pictures of your kids and get friendly with the others in class showing them off.

I agree with the above poster. Talk to your instructor about it. There should be no reason why you can't weigh in at a different time. You shouldn't have to feel humiliated over something like gym class. We're not children anymore.
