She seems to be getting some bad press lately..

I never really liked her but the more that comes out about her the worse she seems. Diet pills that don't work, that kettle ball video that everyone is rolling their eyes over... She's been called an actor playing the part of a personal celebrity.

I think this is an informative thread on the products made by the Jillian Michaels brand and would like to see more input. But please remember the rule about celeb bashing and keep the topic on the products and not the person on the label.

The Kettlebell community is up in arms over Jillian's demonstrations of kettlebell exercises. Her swing demonstration advertised on the Biggest Loser is horribly wrong and kettlebells (like all strength exercises) can be dangerous to those who perform them incorrectly. It's disappointing as a lot of people look to her as a role model and assume she knows what she's talking about (re: kettlebells). I have to admit I'm perplexed that she would be demonstrating poor kettlebell form and have a video for kettlebells without being RKC certified (the standard) or at least hiring someone to teach her the BASIC moves?!!??!?!?! How bizarre.

I don't know the first thing about kettlebells so I have no input there. I just wanted to say how disappointed I am in Jillian's pills and supplements. I do like some of her workout videos though but I don't put all my faith in all her advice and methods.
