Is anyone else worried?
 

I can't seem to turn on the tv or the computer without hearing something about bedbugs. :yikes: I have learned more about these nasty bugs than I ever wanted to know. I know they are everywhere, I know they can invade my house at any time no matter how clean I keep it. I have learned they are incredibly hard to get rid of never mind the expense.

I was driving today with my daughter who I had just picked up from college for the weekend and a friend of hers called her telling her that the neighbors downstairs from her had bedbugs and they had invaded her upstairs apartment :yikes: She then proceeded to ask my daughter if she wanted to hang out this weekend...ummmm NO!!!!! :nono:

Two schools here in Maine were/are closed this week due to bedbugs......I itch just thinking about this!!

Ok, so am I the only one worried about this?

I'm not especially worried. But lots of people seem to be.

Im not to worried but they are nasty!

Egads- I'm traveling at the end of the month and HECK YES I'm worried! I'm taking a flashlight with me and I've looked up my hotel and so far no bedbug reports but I'm still nervous.

I have been worried a few weeks ago a friend of mine found an invasion in her house and since then I have been freaked out by it! Not to mention the news reports about it. It is hard to believe that they just show up no matter how clean you think your house might be!!

Funny you should ask. I was packing for a trip a few weeks ago and trying to put the bedbug stories out of my mind so as to not freak out too much about sleeping in hotel beds. The local news comes on and mentions they will have a BB story so I mute the volume until the national news comes on. Turned up the volume, and you called it, a bed bug story!

I agree, I never even knew they existed until this year, when everyone started talking about them. I never put any thought into "sleep tight, dont let the bedbugs bite" I always thought they were fictional! Super creepy right up there on the list with lice, scabies, raoches, and rodents! Ughh I have no idea which is worse.

I try not to look.

ewwwwwwwwww, I just googled them I thought they were a myth, "sleep tight don't let the bedbugs bite"? I've never heard of anyone having an infestation where I live, maybe they're just uncommon here... *shudder* I'll be itching all night now lol

Anyone want to take a guess on what I dreamed about last night? I am thinking about these nasty things way to much!
