I agree with everyone else - perfect response! That's the type of thing I wish I could think of in those situations.

I could come up with a witty response like that, but it would take me three days! Good for you!! Weight is one thing people think they can make nasty comments about, still. I have a neighbor that has made weight cracks about my ex, my son, given me a "look" (you know that, "god you are big" sneak-look), yet she gets so drunk often that she falls and hurts herself, and picks up strangers at the gas station and brings them home for sex, so I guess some people just like to feel better about themselves and cheap shots are all they have!

Love your response. What she said was very inappropriate and rude. I wish I could come up with witty responses so quick, but I always think of them after the whole thing is over. lol.

I hate when people make assumptions about what the people in your life must look like based on you. I had a coworker say she was surprised my dad was an average guy bc she pictured him to be a big guy... with the unspoken part being because I'm big. Bleh. People are idiots sometimes.

When I was getting married I showed a few people from work my hair trial and one lady kept going on how ugly my hair style was and yada yada yada. I told her too bad, because I liked it and I was going to keep it. She wasn't very nice about it! But she is known for not having a filter on her mouth and it gets her in trouble often.
