I'm asking this because i would LOVE to meet someone from here to walk/exercise with and just become friends with!
I haven't had any friends since high school, and i have a really hard time going out by myself to exercise........not because i'm lazy and need someone to motivate me, but i'm just plain uncomfortable with people looking at me when i go out to walk.
And i KNOW i'd be so much more comfortable, with another person there! And it would really awesome for me to have a friend, who could totally relate to wanting to lose weight, and could share that common goal with me!
And we could totally be each others support systems, ya know!??


I know, i sound totally lame, and i am quite lame. But i don't care, i'm honest........and i totally want some friends who just understand, you know!? =(

aww, i'm in sc. I was thinking the same thing. I would love to have a friend to work out with. I don't really like walking/running in the outdoors though..unless it is a lot cooler.

go to www.meetup.com and search for a group that exersices or walks... I have had excellent luck with that site!

And i hate the heat and humidity here too!! But i'd walk in it, knowing you can end up losing more weight when you walk in the heat. But i'm sure with someone else it wouldn't suck AS much! hahaha.
