We adopted a dog from the pound over the weekend! His name is Gunner. He's a 7 month old coonhound/rottweiler mix and he is 100% sweet! I was a little nervous that he's part rott, but they do a temperament test on all the dog breeds with bad reputations and he passed wonderfully. He's been great with our cats, he went to the dog park with my sister's dog and got along great with him, and at Sunday lunch we found him snuggled up on the couch with my 4 year old cousin, so I don't think we have to worry about him having any aggression issues :) And he's cute as a button!

Congratulations on your new fur baby! We adopted our boxer girl last March,and it feels like she's been here all her life.

We have 2 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats.
