Is anyone taking the GREs this year?
 

Join me in discussing strategies, styles, what you dislike. I am wary of the Math section but it's only 28 questions so I should be cool. I'll be taking a class before I take the exam. I didn't do that 3 1/2 years ago and it's cost me time I could have spent at school. Everything happens for a reason, so I won't dwell on it too much.

I plan on taking them in the fall. Through what program are you taking the class? So far, I've bought a book but I have yet to open it.

I'm using Princeton Review. I'm taking the test in the Fall too!

I'm going to take them in the fall too. Don't know if I'll take a class or not, the class I took for the LSAT didn't really help me, so I'm leery of trying another.

I used the Kaplan software program to prepare when I took the test 2 years ago. I liked it... it wasn't great, but there were some neat little word games and such that helped with vocab, and plenty of practice tests and practice sections.

I ended up getting such a good score on the math and verbal that I was convinced the computer had messed up somehow. :o Maybe it was all the practice tests I took. My analytical writing score, however, was abysmal.. I think it was a 4 out of 6. Somehow I still got into all the grad schools I applied to. :dunno:

I also had to take the Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology subject test, so I may be able to provide advice if anyone is taking that one.

i used kaplan and felt it really helped. Of course, then i never even NEEDED that GED but still lol
