Attention Time Warner Cable users!!

I just found Exercise on Demand!! I've been wanting to do the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and now I have it for FREE!!

Awesome!

I have scanned that channel a few times but haven't been there in a long time. I am so uncoordinated that a lot of routines are too complicated for me. What all is included in the 30 Day Shred? Do I need handweight or resistance bands? Oh I have all that stuff...somewhere...

I looooove Exercise TV on demand.

My favorites are Jillian's "Banish Fat Boost Metabolism," and the "Cardio boot camp"(?) with Kendell Hogan.

I've heard Jillian's "No More Trouble Zones" is also good.

I did a dance cardio one the other day that was pretty fun (from the Enviga series)... I'm not much of a dancer so I just kinda stumbled around the room while my husband critiqued me ("More shoulders!" "Move your hips faster!" "Why is your right arm higher than your left?") until he got bored and left to google "How to increase body awareness". I wish I was making that up.

You need dumbbells, and depending on your strength, you may want pretty light ones. I'm fairly fit, but the first time I did it I used 5 pound dumbbells and I thought it was really tough (I don't remember level 1, but level 2 for sure was hard with the 5lbs).

I did it without the dumbbells. I have them upstairs and will deploy them when I can get through the routine without losing the use of my legs. :fr: I can see this exercise on demand is going to be a real money saver for me because I was about to go through a bunch of money on DVDs.

hmmm...

I think I will try it either without weight or with very light weights. I just had a nerve block for my right shoulder so I'm not ready to really challenge that muscle group yet. But overall, this is a very good reminder that I can put my TV to much better use than yet another rerun of who knows what.:exercise:
