EZ, I was reading your posts in this thread. Your wife is being aggressive for a very emotionally fragile turning point. That is good in a way. I would get her the least expensive and more meaningful necklace, AND give her the e-book too.

Women are weird. We WANT to tell you what we want, and YOU should get it, but at the same time, WE WANT you to use your head and heart and give us a gift THOUGHT OF completely by you.

The tatoo thing sounds like she really wants to bond with her sister. But, she is also fitting a part of her identity crisis into it. It is wild/young to go get tattoos.

about the dog thing...that gives me hope. Because I am hitting my SO up with the idea of a dog for my son. I want a boston terrier. And he is LIKE "There is no way you are going to get a dog".

I tried one time with a beagle mix puppy. He threatened to leave me! Here we go again. I want a puppy so oooooo BAD for me and DS. (that puppy was a rotten little stinker--that cried/whined all day--it was free. I will have to pay for a good one, one that has the characteristics and breed I desire-- and we are poor)

Kiddo, this would be her third tattoo...she knows the pain well...she tried 3 sessions to cover one up before...just re-did it instead.

I solved the problem of buying "the wrong" gift years ago...I give her $$$ instead....good luck in that marathon too! We did ours in 2001 :)

Is she really worth 2 gifts? ;)

Women are weird. Please repeat that so she can hear you! We WANT to tell you what we want, and YOU should get it, but at the same time, WE WANT you to use your head and heart and give us a gift THOUGHT OF completely by you.

We want...we want...we want...THAT'S what Ive been saying!

This tattoo would be with my sister....she started this wild tattoo thing 15 years ago....when she turned the "emotional" 35...:D

I always give her the vet bill...she always gives it back...

Gifts aren't about what we DESERVE - gifts are about how much we're loved. :)
