Yeah it's tough to go to a new year without the security of a job. I have been there.

With 10 years of experience, I'm sure you can move on to a higher place. Use the 2 weeks to save the money and get some references. I hope you have already started looking for new opportunities.

thanks! I have sent out a bunch. It's time consuming at first, esp since nowadays businesses have their own websites that you have to fill out endless resume info before attaching your resume and cover letter. I'm getting it streamlined, and have been letting people know too.
