Hm. I came in the 2nd week of preseason. That 3 weeks of preseason... and 3 weeks of the regular season. I should be 216. I weighed in at 217.8 this morning. Not on target, but not far behind either. I had a weekend where I blew everything so I guess it's not so bad.
I think I'll need some extra will power this weekend. Alumni weekend at college! Eeek!
Well, good week for Broncos! I'm happy with how they are doing. Also a little surprised. They have a big test with the Cowboys next week. I am in a tie for 2nd place for this week's football pool, so no money for me this week. I'm still ahead by 3 games in the overall pool. Yay!
I'm not sure I can make my goal for the Superbowl, but I'm going to keep trying! I lost 1.8 this week.

Weak moment I guess. Actually, I was looking at all the sad Raider fan faces at the game and I felt a slight touch of sympathy. Slight. Besides, I don't want to say too much right now. I'm still not sure what kind of team we have here in Colorado!
Did you see!?? The Broncos beat the Cowboys!? wow. Why do I still feel so unconfident about them? I guess because they get to play the Patriots next week. Ugh.
Diane - I understand. I was saying to someone else on 3FC this morning - I watch Orton and I think Wow, he sucks! I look at his numbers and think I was watching the wrong QB play!
Marbear - I hear you on that one. I think he is just so "vanilla" that you don't notice that he's being successful. But if I have to hear how "lucky" the Broncos are with their wins this year, I'm going to scream. Yes, the first win was lucky, but how can you say that about the rest of them? There is a little skill involved in being on the field and winning the game.
