Why I shouldn't stay away from the board too long
 

It's been a crazy summer (mother visiting from Scotland for 6 weeks (eek!!), brother's wedding at my house, I was a bridemaid (eek!!), various trips and entertaining that involved too much eating and drinking, etc. etc) and as a result I haven't been keeping my eye on 3FC in the usual compulsive way that I usually do.

Here are a few reasons why that's not a good idea:

1. Almost missed the fact that Glory57 got engaged - congrats, Glory!

2. Spent way too much time puzzling over why Rosinante sounded so much like Ailidh, had to go WAY back through many posts to finally get it.

3. In a similar vein, almost missed Chunkychic's metamorphosis into Onederchic.

4. I've gained!!!

And I'm sure there's way more good advice and info that passed me by.
