Well, David who knows we may have passed each other many times. I used to go to San Leandro a lot when my son and daughter in law lived there. They now live in Sacramento.

High school football season has begun!! Preview night was tonight and fall was definitely in the air-only 65 degrees at 5:00pm:D DS2 has shaped up and lost 40 pounds since last year:carrot: He will be playing defensive tackle and linebacker this year! So proud of him:yes:

Nothing like high school football to get the "new" year going!

Everybody up!.....because I am! I'm about to load up my car with the results of yesterdays baking marathon and head off to the Church for the Yard and Bake Sale. I often think just writing a cheque would be a lot easier but out summer visitors adore real home baking.

No construction until Monday morning so the dogs and I are going to chill out and recharge this weekend. We need it!

Well, we are another $1K closer to paying for the roof repairs. That's not all yard and bake sale profit - we did get donations to the capital fund as well. Our Church is designated heritage which gives us a lovely plaque from the government but no government money for keeping it restored.

Now I am going to start my real weekend with the paper and some iced tea on the front porch.

Coming home from work I heard on the news BILL was blowing a lot of stuff around in Bermuda and heading for the east coast....

could be why he hasn't been around here much.

That sounds like a REALLY BAD case of indigestion!!!

We could get some good milage out of BILL jokes for a while.

I had the same thought, but about Mr. Clinton who is headed to Bermuda at the same time as the headlines talking about the big wind coming ashore.

Ran into some brief-but-VERY-heavy rain this evening. That Bill is certainly about.
