Is anyone else here addicted to The Sims games?

I just got Sims 3 on Saturday night--I have played over 24 hours since then. It's disgusting and sitting in front of the computer all day has lead me to make poor eating choices.

So this morning I asked my fiance to hide the game somewhere in our apartment. I have school work to do, miles to run, meals to plan--so until I can control myself, I need to to be in hiding unless I decide I can play it over the weekend or something.

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

My dd has asked for the sims3, but we are making her earn the money for it.

But, I use the sims2 once in a while to distract me from eating or thinking about food. Not hooked tho...

The sims are beeeeeyond addictive! I remember when I got the first set of Sims.... I pretty much was in your same boat! :)

OMG I love Sims3. We need more ram for the 'puter, though because it keeps locking up and shutting down. It is awesome, though. My son was mad, though because we made an exact replica of our family (except I'm in GREAT shape as opposed to reality LOL) and he was a boy, then had his birthday and is now a teenager. OUr stove caught on fire and now all we can eat are salads. No wonder my Sims mom is so shapely. ;) So, I was just about to assign all members of the family to get jobs and the 'puter shut down. More ram please!!

Hey you can actually use that to your advantage! You can only get access to Sims after working out or days your on plan after dinner. Carrots can be great! (As opposed to sticks)
