Funny. I first visited the U.S. with my parents when I was 13. My big sis was living here. I had never has anything but Dutch food to eat, meat, potatoes and veg. It took me no time at all to figure out that there was a whole world of unexplored food out there and I loved it! From donuts to hamburgers to Mexican, to pizza, it was such a revelation.

Well. my boss did get tired of apple pie as a daily meal and became a good American Cook, She also became an American Citizen , a secret she kept from her parents.

As I understand it "ane" is short for inane. We have plenty of posters conforming to the inane.

Not wishing to disagree, but, and keeping in mind that I am merely interpreting the mind of Ruthxxx, herself, it is clear to me that she used the word "ane" to mean the opposite of inane.

That means your post was, trying to be kind, inane, and out of line.

There are reasons for rules.

i knew it was a chip commercial but for some reason was thinking pringles but i know that was not it because that one once you pop you can't stop. but that would work to describe it too.
