If you were single, would you?

I have a profile on a dating site and am single. Been single for over a year. I did spend a weekend with the ex-boyfriend back in December but that relationship is totally over and dead.

Anyway on the dating site I am not really looking for anything too serious but I just want to see who is out there and enjoy myself. Hopefully it will lead up to a long term relationship but I am in no rush.

Yesterday, I ran across the profile of a fellow I dated 3 times when the ex-bf and I were in one of our off-again phases. The most this guy and I did was have coffee, talk and a little kissing. I say a little kissing because his smoking turned me off going any further then that even though I would have liked to on the third date.

Of course I have always wondered (off and on) what it would be like to be with him intimately. Now I have just found out he has quit smoking (yeah!!) and I am wondering if I should hook up with him again and see what happens.

So if you were single...would you?

If you like him and there was nothing major (other than smoking) that caused you to stop seeing him then sure Id say go for it!

Of course, go for it! :D Raaaawr!

Sure, why not! I say seize the day, especially if the only thing that bothered you is now a non-issue.

luckylindy 04-29-2009 01:11 PM

Of course go for it! If you want to have fun and already had the opportunity to enjoy his company - why not?! DO IT! LOL

luckylindy 04-29-2009 01:11 PM

And they say men are bad?! LOL

Us girls can hold our own.

what have you got to loose?? Go for it, you never know what could happen. Carpe diem!

canadianwoman 04-29-2009 01:18 PM

LOL!! You ladies are cracking me up.

Well, nothing has been said yet (by me) but he did mention in an earlier email to me that he did want to be with me intimately but I never took him up on the opportunity. I never answered that. I simply changed the subject and asked how he was doing. LOL.

I did tell him why I could not be with him at the time but perhaps he forgot as it has been more then a couple of years since we dated.

Now he has an email from me to answer so I will just let things progress and see where it leads.

Thanks everyone. :D

good luck, and just take it as it comes.

I've found, the less you look, the more you get in response. I wasn't really looking for anything but friendship when I found the love of my life. Both of us were very honest in the beginning, no games, no nothing and found that we were entirely comfortable together and it just progressed rapidly from there.

Good luck! I would have definitely emailed him, too. Hey, as someone else said, carpe diem! And hopefully you'll be burning some calories having fun. ^_^ It's my favorite way to exercise. :P

LittleMoonRabbit 04-29-2009 07:52 PM

haha, Crafty, that's true... it's my favorite way to exercise too! lol

I agree, go for it... what could you have to lose? :) Keep us updated.
