Flatiron, do you find you are more comfortable with other tattooed naked people? I think tattoos are more identifiable as my "body image" than being fat is...lol.

NO not really. But I have to admit I am attracted to people with large tattoos. I just love the permanency of the art form.

Because it's one thing to get a little tiny tattoo on your shoulder blade or upper arm that's easy to hide but when you have full sleeves or a back piece or on the neck or hands you are laying it ALL on the line and there is NO hiding that!

The person is saying they don't care what society is thinking and I like that.

My ideas about nudity have changed over the last few years. We live in Florida on a secluded 10 acres, so nudity is an everyday thing for us. We have a few friends who are "free spirits" and non-judgemental that I feel comfortable enough to skinny dip with (or as I call it--chunky dunk ;) ).

There's a nude beach not far from us, but that doesn't appeal to either of us. There are also nudist resorts and communities all over the place down here too. I'm sure the sunshine is a big draw, but I have noticed that the attitude here is a lot more relaxed in regards to nudity. MUCH different than the midwest where I am originally from!

It's weird - I actually love being naked, and I sleep naked, but I cover up in front of people. Only significant other for me.

It isn't about how fat I am for me, it is about modesty. I am fine in front of my husband but that is about it.
