Default Hubby finally "lost it".

After a year and a half of me eating healthy - I have recently upped my vegetable and fruit intake.

And hubby told me he's had it. I am stinking him out of the room every night!

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??? Argh!! I can't HELP being gassy... and it's totally embarassing!!!!

Any tips?

I take a vegetarian papaya enzyme that my local health food store sells. You chew three right after a meal - it helps cut the gas, and they taste pleasant to boot.

Do you chew a lot of gum? That will cause gas.

Whenever I got the "Silent but Deadlies" in public, I'd just release then walk away while his attention was diverted, leaving him in the fog and on the receiving end of all the dirty looks. Damn, I could be a rotten brat at times.

Every week or so Angie goes to her knees in thanks for the spare bedrooms, now that all the kids are gone.

It might improve over time... increasing your fiber intake can cause some gas issues but often your body gets used to it after a while (a few weeks maybe?).

Congrats on eating healthy! My husband still acts "shocked" when I pass gas and we have been married 25 years! I think I have earned my right to fart in my own home! Veggies affect me that way too! PLUS he has no problem letting them go around me! His response to me is, "Well, you're my wife!" Beano does work though!

Oh...funny! My husband was just telling me the other day that I have become the gas queen! I bet you I have farted more in the last year than I have in the last 42 previous. I like to fart though...and mine don't stink...they are just loud...LOL

Seriously, they don't stink!

That's why I love this group so much, I am not alone anymore, there are more gassers like me. DH and I have started eating more veggies and whole grains and that has increased the gas for both of us. its cheap entertainment at night.
Buying Beano at Sam's might be a good idea.
