hmmm... you provided the answer to that with Red Sox led Texas 10-zip at the end of the first, with Ortiz getting to bat twice, each time hitting a home run.

Now, at the bottom of the seventh, Texas leads 16-14. Methinks SweetCaroline fell asleep again, LOL.

My apologies to SweetCaroline for getting a bit nervous before the fat lady sung. Final score: Boston 19 - Texas 17. The 36 runs tying the AL record.

Nice game for our Mets last night. Although my heart went out to the Nationals' pitcher who gave up all those runs in the 3rd...after the inning was over, they showed him in the dugout and he looked shell-shocked.

Still, it's nice to be back in first place, even if we're not alone there.

I think Wagner's coming back next week.
