Thumbs up Who do you admire on 3FC?

It occurred to me there's a few people on here that I really admire. While I'll glad sing praises to them, I'm sure others want to commend some posters who are inspirational or wise to them.

I realized recently that PhotoChick has a practically perfect record for saying extremely wise and inspired comments all over the boards (I say practically perfect because I haven't read everything she's written, though I can't think of time where I thought she sounded off-base either!). She is frank and doesn't beat around the bush, but I don't think she states things in a way that is meant to offend others. I think her posts are well thought out and very wise! Also, she's come very far in her weight loss journey... kudos to you!

I also like to see updates from Here We Go Again. She's a machine. I can't believe how many inches she has lost in that short amount of time. She has amazing tenacity and when I was doing the 30 Day Shred with her in October and wanted to skip some days, I thought of her and how she was powering through everyday and it really helped me keep going.

I also love to read posts from Jelbb. She, too, always seems to know just the right thing to say, whether someone is up, down, or sideways. She has a great sense of humor and is impossible to not like.

These are just a few, I have a dozen other names in my head but I think this is a good starter.

So who do you admire? Whose posts to do you look forward to and who do you find to be inspirational, motivational, wise, kind-hearted, funny, encouraging, and just worthy of a shoutout?

PhotoChick. So wise , direct and honest. She can say so much in such an incredibly simple, well written format.

My support group on the Back to Kindergarten Thread

and the infamous EZMoney.....

among many others....everyone on this board is so supportive--I like the fact that we can disagree on things but not let it get personal.

Thanks to the Moderators and the original "3 fat chicks"

I have to agree with PC - we've had our disagreements in the past but she never stooped to name calling and always made sound arguments. Also, Ruth and CottagebytheSea (moderators on the South Beach board).

Photo chick hands down.

and

Mandalinn.

I feel bad because so many ladies on here are people I look up to, but these two ladies are the ones who really stick out to me. Photo chick always tells the truth and makes good points, and she's just somebody I really would like to be when I'm a little older and wiser. And Mandalinn Said some nice words to me once upon a time that never left.

It would be diffficult for me to pick only a few. I learn bits of wisdom and inspiration from so many here. Sometimes it can be a newbie. Other times, it can be someone with thousands of posts.

To the original THREE FAT CHICKS--Merry Christmas and best wishes in the New Year. Here is to You and Yours! (Toasting)

I admire everyone here who has the courage to start and the strength to persist.

I admire the ones who fall, pick themselves up, and try again ... and again.

I admire the ones who may only lose ten pounds but are committed to keeping it off forever!

I admire all of you who share your experiences and wisdom because collectively we are so much stronger than we are alone.

And I will forever be in debt to Suzanne, Jennifer and Amy because I know -- beyond the shadow of a doubt -- that I couldn't have done it without 3FC.

Aw thanks!

Meg, Mel and Ilene have been my heroes for years now. And Ruth is such a gem! But there are so many folks who's threads and comments make me think and encourage me.

Here's to the entire site!

Wow. You guys. I'm all sappy and in tears here. Thanks.

I"m just one of many here and there are so many women who I admire and whose posts I seek out. I couldn't possibly name them all.

I know some of the first names I actually recognized when I first started posting and reading here are Mandalinn, kaplods, Meg, Susan, Jay ... oh gosh ... others I can't even remember to list.

Without getting sappy, I just have to say I admire everyone. Of course, the originators, who had a wonderful idea in starting this, but also everyone else, because even if I don't agree with every post, I still learn so much from reading everyone's struggles and victories! You're all inspirations to me and I'm very grateful that I was led to 3fc.
