I want to go to the beach!
 

Hey all-
I really want to go to the beach (after some more weight loss) and wear a bathing suit for the first time in ... I don't know how long. I'm thinking about making a vacation out of it in August or September. So, any suggestions?
I live in Columbus Ohio, so something on the east coast or gulf, but not some where that's too expensive.

Suggestions??

Virginia Beach is pretty nice and so is Ocean City. They aren't too far away and not extremely expensive.

You can get some AWESOME deals right now for the Myan Rivera and Cancun Mexico (there are some people that rent "cabins" in Cancun for $300 per week).

Or you can get all inclusive packages starting from $1200/pp

OORRR!! head out to the Rockies and check out the hotsprings!!! Nothing like cold mountain air to help you enjoy the hot steamy natural pools!!! My family and I live about 90 minutes from the closest hot springs, and like to head up when it's chilly on a weekend. Nothing like relaxing in hot natural (outdoor) spring water while looking down the mountains.

Check out some of the travel sites...there are awesome deals right now for just about everywhere. I just booked a caribbean cruise for Feb. because the deal was so good I couldn't pass it up. Main deck suite with full window oceanside for $800 for 2 of us, air fare to florida was another $300 for both. Thats $1100.00 total for a 5 night with all meals included. We also went to Las Vegas for $800.00 including air fare and hotel for 4 nights. Not the beach, but some awesome pools to show off in your new bathing suit.
