Boobs? Boobs! You've lost all that weight and you still have boobs?!? Sheesh, mine have gone all bye-bye. But, I guess at my age, having little perky girls that aren't staring at my belly button when I get out of the shower is almost as good as cleavage

I came back after the weekend and logged onto 3FC practically trembling with dread that our beloved threadkiller thread would be but a fond memory. Thank heavens there are so many chickies with slightly off center humor to keep it alive!

Pomeranian. His name is PoBear(Short for Polar Bear). It's strange, I know, but he is almost a duplicate of my Muffy Man who we lost in May. Now I have to learn to type while keeping the "fish on a string" going and watch for peeing-prep. This is our first time housebreaking.

I appreciate indoor plumbing and running hot water.

And of course this crazy thread.

WebRover - I was born and raised in WY and now live in UT. As the year continues into winter I absolutely ADORE indoor plumbing and hot water.

I visited a family for two weeks that had running water but no water heater. Even though it was summer and warm, that shower water was "refreshing". I've appreciated hot water ever since. I wouldn't care to experience it in the way far north in the winter. (blue being the appropriate color!!!)

I've spent a fair amount of time in SLC (job related - late 1980's) and I'm sure I've seen your mine from the air.

Yep, biggest man-made (sh*t) hole on the planet. Now we've gone down far enough that we are within 200 feet of being at the same elevation as the valley floor.

It's about 3000 feet from the top level to the bottom and that's not counting the mountain peaks that where there to begin with.

About 12 different small and not too small mining towns have been eliminated. We name different areas of the mine after them. Kinda cold-blooded, I think.

My grandma would tell us about the days before TP when they had to use the Sears catalog. I guess the slick, fancy pages were the worst.

Better than the perfume pages in the fashion magazines, I'll bet.
