Thank you, operator. You've echoed my sentiments. This thread was getting way too intellectual! (just kidding! No offense intended to the book lovers!)
|
Most of the books mentioned were a looooong way from being intellectual,
|
GROO! Now *that's* intellectual! :p
|
ok - glad to see we're back to (ab)normal.
Thank goodness it's the weekend. Incredibly the TB Rays are in the postseason. I think several folks at work slipped away early to go to the game. Unfortunately I was there til 5:00. :( The morning started with some excitement :spin: with a 5-6 foot alligator on the second floor of the parking garage!!!! :fr: |
I have turned into military mamma! Hallerin' at my kids to clean up! GOGOGO CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN thats RIGHT YOU HEARD ME NO SNACK TILL ITS DONE!
Whew good thing I dont do that to often. I gave myself a headache! |
So have you packed away the Military Momma persona and taken out a different one for today? ;)
|
Today is the matron of honour persona. Finishing up details the wedding is on the 18th!
|
Ah yes. That's much better. Wow! the 18th will be here before you know it.
The weather here in Florida is getting NICE. |
Welp, I'm back on Blast Crew this week:bomb:, so I'm pretty exhausted.:faint: We did a blast yesterday and when we set it off it looked like a big 'ol boobie. It was WAY COOL!!!!:dancer: It was on a flat, so you have to make the middle go off first to relieve the pressure for the rest of it. Then the surrounding dirt goes off 17 milliseconds later. I got to shoot it and when it was over I let out an Incredible Hulk type muscle flex:jig: not realizing that a bunch of maintenance trucks were lined up behind me.:o They all started honking their horns in appreciation of the blast and the pose. I had already made a royal a** of myself, so I just turned to them all and gave a bow.:encore: Now I've got the Blast Foreman calling the uplift blasts the "Boobie Formation" instead.

Yep, Bargoo, my computer job doesn't seem to be as exciting as a boobie formation constructor either!!

Gee Operator. Sure hope the topic of your post doesn't become a threadkiller. What can we say after that except that we lead dull, drab, pathetic lives?
And after 4-5 of us comment on that, the whole thread will be boring. (JK - I have more faith in this crew than that.) So to change the subject altogether - Why is it with two games that will be of interest to west central Florida, the two leagues have chosen to play them at the EXACT SAME TIME? The Bucs game kicks off at 4:05 and the (post season) Rays game at 4:07. Guess neither league cares that the market will be flipping back and forth between channels and none of the advertisements will be seen. |
Well... my life isn't boring. I explore musical concepts on Monday. On Tuesday and Thursday I discuss the US government (scary) and engage in the legislative process (I represent a district in SC in the House.) This coming Sunday, I'm leading a workshop in the meditative practice of Labyrinth walking and all the time I'm not doing those things, I'll be exploring the life of an early education specialist and the challenges of those that care for young children.
The trick is getting my life to be just interesting enough, because if I'm not careful, it snowballs and gets WAY too interesting to fit into a day. |
Tera, interested that you mention Labyrinth walking, we have a Labyrinth at my church, even more remarkable there is a Labyrinth at The Cancer Treatment Center, where I go for treatment, I always walk the Labyrinth before my radiation treatment.
