I LOVE the southern USA accent, seriously. lol. "ya'll". I met a southern lady in the airport in Jamaica once she was so sweet, she was from Georgia and I fell in love with her accent. She thought mine was cute, and kept making me say "EH", You want to play hockey EH.
haha.

When I used to live in N'awlins (New Orleans) there were actual sign that said jeet yet... as well as signs that said Nawlins. I heart the south and miss it. It's sad when I talk to my family or friends back home I hear them on the phone and I find myself thinking "wow! they got a thick accent" It's very sad to me. My mom said that I'm her California girl and am losing my accent. *tear*

PS I took Linguistics in college and it was so much fun to study regional dialects.... we all got one....some of us just don't know it!;)

I know where Blytheville is! My family lives in Jonesboro, AR. I've driven through there a time or two on the way to St. Louis.
