sorry to see ucs loose gary...but heck it makes the SEC stronger.
The dawgs are probably happy...but tiki is right...we all got to make it thr the conference schedule. This is the time of year when the SEC teams start playing hard agaist each other and we start falling or rising thr the ranks.
This makes 3 years in a row we can't win the little one! The big games are easy!
I know in the past SC has gone in over confident against lesser teams but against Oregon State they just got whipped up good! An outstanding game by the Beavers.
Hard to start with so much to look forward to then have the bubble burst early, especially after that big win agaisnt Ohio State....but...as in the last 3 years...we will shoot for the ROSE BOWL and hope for the best!
Good luck to all of you in your games this week-end.
I am home for the week-end but leave again for 12 to 14 days...probably....we just never know!
What a crazy football Saturday! It is kind of fun to see it shaken up. Well, fun for some, disappointing for others! Should be fun to see the polls next week.
Nebraska lost, but I think they're coming around. Maybe in the next couple of years, they can get back on top and be more dominant.
Man, I don't know what happened with my Dawgs...I had an uneasy feeling about the game, and knew there was a chance we'd lose. But I figured we would win, or if we did, only lose by a field goal or a TD. That first half was brutal! We just got whipped. It wasn't tons of mistakes, bad coaching, etc, Bama just owned it. I'm proud of our 2nd half rally though! Shows we're tough; we'd just dug ourselves too deep of a hole to crawl out of it.
Oh well. We could be 0-4 and I'd still rather be a DAWGthan anyone else!
I was at the Big House watching the Michigan - Wisconsin game and that sucker was XXXXCITING!! what a come back.
Tennessee losing didn't shock me at all. If they don't know how to run a proper 2 point conversion then they don't deserve the win. But I couldn't believe that Florida fell to Ole Miss! what the heck?!?!? I bet Arkansas wishes they had never let Houston Nutt go to Ole Miss!
And the Alabama win was just as big a surprise. Vanderbilt is sitting at the top of the SEC East.
I was at the PSU Illinois game this weekend and it was possibly the greatest college football experience I've ever had (def top 3). I haven't been this excited since 2005 and the big 10 is much worse this year.
They're #15 on the BCS this week, but UTAH beat Oregon (the team that whomped on USC last weekend). Even though Oregon wasn't ranked, we're hoping that it will move us up in the rankings. What a game it was last night!!!
