Do you ever wish...

  • That you would actually GAIN weight in an area you don't? I've always hated my flat butt (trying to build it w/muscle now), and never understood why I had big hips/boobs but was bothered that the fat would never go to my booty. I always ended up looking ridiculously disproportionate from the side.

For those of you who do have this problem, did you ever do anything to make these areas bulk up while losing weight? Did it work?

I'm a little afraid now of losing what little booty I have gotten, but I'd still rather lose the weight more than keep my bum.
  • Oh definitely. I lost a lot of weight out of my bust. I am currently at goal weight, I would love to lose a little bit more of my stomach/thighs/hips but I know I would end up flat chested with collarbones that could cut glass.

Glory-- you and I must be twins! I have almost no chest left. It is very depressing. My stomach is still not near where I'd like it to be. I have very prominent collarbones now. I like the collarbones but I have gotten a few comments about them so they may be somewhat extreme.
  • I wish the fat in my arms would of moved towards my booty. I have a big bottom, but it doesn't bother me as much as my arms do. I am trying like a 12step program to accept my batwings, but I never get far in the steps :/

P.S. I do not mean to offend anyone who may be battling addiction and trying a program like the 12 steps.

I know it doesn't relate to your thread topic, but I am pretty ample with fat everywhere lol, so I don't think I can wish for fat in more of an area
  • I would love to redistribute my weight. Yesterday I found some measurements I had written down for a ren fair costume I'd wanted to make for myself several years ago (and never did). They must have been written at my highest weight. Good news, and bad news:

I lost 5 inches from my bust, 3 inches from my waist, and ZERO inches from my hips. ZERO inches!

Considering that hubby asked me to "try not to lose" my boobs, at least one of us is going to be very disappointed.
  • I want a bigger butt! When I weight train my legs in the gym, I do exercises that focus on the gluteus maximus. I also use the "gluteal" setting on the elliptical quite a bit. If I could take my stomach and put it on my behind I'd be happy!
  • I'm a total pear, so I can understand feeling disproportionate. I have a huge butt (but not in a good way!) and small boobs, which are so annoying! I don't think there's much that can be done about my general shape, but I'll try to tone and lose weight to see where it takes me. When I'm skinny, somehow it all looks alright and I can dress in a way that accentuates the positive and camouflage the negative.
  • Add me to the list of folks who wouldn't mind a bit more on top. The only time I had an honest-to-goodness B cup was at my high weight. My bras are already too loose, but my pants still fit .
  • ohmygosh. if i loose any more weight in my boobs, i'm going to look like a 12 year old.
  • e do too.
  • *sighs* I think that is the first place I lost weight. And am still losing weight. Even my DH has noticed.
  • I'd love to just suck some fat out of my upper arms and hips and relocate it to my breasts. I didn't have much in that area to begin with, and they're pretty 'barely there' at the moment.. and I still have more weight to lose.

(I'm a pear. I've got big, womanly, child-bearing hips but there's not much to the top half of me.. I don't actually mind the hips alone, I just wish I wasn't so disproportionate)

I have concluded, though, that that is what nature has intended for me.. so I'm just going to learn to accept it, even love it as it is.

FDLOL, exactly how did he expect you to accomplish that? Maybe you can hang onto your boobs when you step on the scale so they don't leak out. Seriously, husbands make some weird requests. My DH wanted me to make sure I don't lose my hips completely. Well, I've got wide set hipbones so no worries there, but it was still a funny request!
  • Yeah, when he asked me that, I laughed so hard I nearly peed myself laughing. I told him I'd better lose some of the boobs, at 150 lbs, 52DD's would be ridiculous (not to mention dangerous)!
  • I think it's Mel who (in weight lifters) talks about developing more butt bubble. You can pop in there and see what they say.

I'm on my way to work but I'll type up some of the exercises I do later today. You can have a look at my old pic in my profile. Flat and droopy!
