Mmmm, shrimp ice cream!

I found this recipe on the Blue Bunny ice cream website...

Black Shrimp Vanilla Sherbet

A Filipino special delicacy found in the island of Palawn. It is a Sherbet made from fine ground shrimp mixed with lemon syrup to creamy vanilla ice cream and ice.

Ingredients:

1/4 kilos black shrimp (finely ground)
3 lemons sliced (with skin not peeled off)
Blue Bunny Vanilla Ice Cream
Crushed Ice
Optional: Nuts, Chocolate Syrup

At first it is seems to be disgusting. But the people here consider it a delicacy. Truly the term "To Taste is to Believe" applies here.

Don't forget to use nonfat ice cream!

how about this?

I went to Garlic World in Gilroy, Ca.
They had garlic ice cream, I tried the chocolate...it was gross. :)
It wouldn't of been too bad if it was just a hint of garlic, but this was garlic overdose and I love garlic.

The garlic wine was pretty good though! :D

Oh My Goodness

I can't even imagine !!! Fishy Tasting Ice-Cream!! Garlic Tasting Ice-Cream!!! Hey maybe, we would stay away from it if in fact it did taste this bad????? But to each his own eh???

What are they thinking? That sounds soooooo disgusting, some things should not be mixed with ice cream!!!!:?:

Although, if that was served to me, I would most definitely lose weight, cause I wouldn't eat that!!!!! :)
