I Can Make You Thin - New TCL Show

  • There's a new show on TLC starting 3/16 called I Can Make You Thin by Paul McKenna. Apparently this was his book now turned into a tv show. Anyone else going to tune in? Ooo, how can I resist? Always looking for anything to help!
  • I'll be watching too, mostly out of curiosity I guess. Has anyone ever read anything of his?
  • I checked out his website and he has an event but I think it not in the USA. There is an audio you can listen to that tells you how to deal with a craving....very interesting and a 'trance' download at no charge. I downloaded the trance and found myself asleep for about 15 mins. I will be tuning in....as someone said......I will give anything within reason a try.
  • I am curious about this so I am planning to watch, but I am quite skeptical. If it was that easy nobody would be overweight.
  • I saw a preview last night and all I remember was the audience all tapping themselves on their faces and wrists. I don't know why. It'll be interesting to watch!

  • It could be for this reason, "EFT".

As far as the show and Paul McKenna is concerned, I think he's got a positive attitude, that he is supportive and motivational to many people.

Much of what he shares is common sense, is based on many popular beliefs about the power of ones' mind and listening to intuition. These are all good things.

That being said, I really don't like the format of the show, it has an infomercial feel to it. I also don't like that he isn't stressing anything about nutrition or health at all.

"Eat what you want" is one of his main ideas, and I think that may not be the best way everyone can get their nutritional needs met.
