Hmmmm.....did it ever occur to Seattle's GM that having only one player in the bullpen (JJ Putz) might not cut it? Seattle is 2 and 4 with 3 of the 4 losses being blown by bullpen. We can't even hold a 3 run lead in the 9th. Sheesh.
Oh yes it was soooo worth getting Horatio last year in exchange for giving up Soriano. Snort. Oh well, at least my fantasy team is doing better than my real team. |

Acckkkkkk my Mets spit the bit against the Philties again. Walking 7 goons, hitting 3 (actually the same guy 3 times) and throwing away an inning ending DP ball with the bases loaded. They can be so frustrating sometimes.

Bill Buckner threw out the first pitch at Fenway Red Sox Opening Day, it was a surprise, no one knew who was throwing 1st pitch... All the team spokespeople would say is that it will be 'shocking'... you're not kidding. He was announced and once people figured it wasn't a joke, he got a standing 'O' that lasted a very long time, he was crying, well 'he shed a tear'...Thank God Red Sox Nation has finally forgiven this poor guy.. There are stories of mean people that would ask him to autograph a baseball, he'd be psyched for a minute, then the people would try to roll it through his legs...... awful.. No one knew how Boston fans would react to his appearance... I'm not quite sure if red sox nation would be so forgiving if we hadn't won a couple of series since 86... People forget he was playing HOF caliber baseball before 'the incident' and it all came crashin down.... I'm happy was treated well yesterday...

Growing up Billy Buc's was my favorite DODGER! He got a bad-bad rap in Boston....finally some closure for him...
now....back to the future... those dang snakes are really getting me P.O.'d!! |
Better look out, EZ! I think the Rockies are tied with the Dodgers now. :)
