Our Little Chief finally died. It only lasted about 5 years. We are looking to replace it and not sure of what to get. We really don't want to get the humongous wood smoker. We don't have room for it. Not sure if we want a gas one. We'd prefer one where we can use our wood chips, not those little disc things that some require.

We went to Barbecues Galore and they are really going upscale now and not carrying anything as lower end as the Little Chief. Can't find any other place that sells them. We're a little leary of ordering one sight unseen from the internet.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I have two smokers, dating from back when I was a meat eater. I have an outdoor smoker that uses chips, and an indoor stove top smoker. I've not used the outdoor one in a few years, but I frequently use my stove top smoker to smoke tomatoes. I also soak chips in water then wrap in foil and toss on the grill when I grill vegetables.

I'm sure none of that was of help Good luck getting a replacement!

They sell little chiefs at walmart and target. Bet they sell them at a store near you.
