Years ago I asked for a bathrobe for Christmas so my husband and kids went to K-mart and picked out a duster (the thin cotton kind with snaps on the front like your grandma wears). I couldn't bear to wear it so I took it back. My husband couldn't understand why I didn't like it.

When I was younger and much heavier, my cousin always got me a sweater that was WAY too small - think a small or medium.

Now that I'm smaller, they get me sweaters that are WAY too BIG - XL or even XXL.

I'm not even going to pretend to understand. All of the food gifts last Christmas (when I was actively losing weight and everyone KNEW it) were also lovely.

An internet yellow pages. It was a HUGE book of yellow pages for the net.

Okay, the fruit loops/peanut brittle had me laughing till I cried. An 8 year old girl...holy cow!
