I go by Sass, but it was taken here already so I put SBD in front of it and it stands for South Beach Diet in which I love so that's how I got my handle.
Mine was originally pretty negative sounding when I briefly joined and disappeared a few years ago - fatbaby. I didn't think of myself as a fat baby too much, it referred to my then chunkaliscious toddler (don't you love baby bellies and folds?). I had it changed to FB, now I always think fat b*tch when I see it
My original nym here was really negative, so I changed it to something more in keeping with a positive outlook. Fish the Dish was an old nickname, with the Fish bit being a play on my maiden name. I just tweaked it to DishyFishy.
Well, i'm Wantingtolose all this weight, thus the name. Not very unique or original. I have a few different names i typically use on boards, but i felt this one required a more fitting name for losing weight.
"A.N. Other" is a British-ism, originally used in sports lineups to indicate a player to be named later, and by extension used as Americans might use "John Q. Public" or "Joe Sixpack"
I love owls, I love monkeys, and Owlmonkeys are cool. Also something most people don't choose as a username. It was actually my second choice-my first one was already taken (by me but I couldn't remember what email & password I used!)
