Need to make $$
This is probably a weird topic but I don't know who else to talk to about this who will not give me the "judgy" "lectury' thing.
I have been a stay-at-home-mom for almost 6 years. I have done a few part time things to help out with money when my husband worked from home and could stay with the kids (we have 2 - 5 & 2). My husband works sales so he gets a VERY small salarie and commission. The potential is great and his boss is trying to find him a management position that will pay very good. In the mean time I want to do something to help out. Money is SOOOO tight right now that getting groceries is even very difficult. We see the light at the end of the tunnel but we just don't know how far away it is. Putting my kids in daycare is not an option for many reasons (any money that I could make would go to pay for daycare and my husband and I have always said that it is not an option - we decided to have the kids and we want to be the ones to raise them - just to name a couple) I keep thinking that there has to be some work at home thing that really works and is not a scam. But I know that is not the case. Maybe I just need to wait this out. I just hate that my husband has to carry this burdon by himself. He says that he doesn't mind and that our kids are more important. (I totally agree. I don't want anyone to think that he is some backward thinking woman hater making me stay at home - barefoot and pregnant making sure that a hot meal is waiting for him. Not the case at all. This was a decission that we made as a team.)
Anyway, thank you letting me vent. Maybe all I needed was to write this down and get it off my chest. Thanks again!
