OK, so we got the Wii and decided to buy a switcher/router type box so we could hook up multiple doo-hickeys on the same TV. The Wii sports games that come with the system are quite addicting--especially bowling and baseball, as is creating new Mii's--since I've been in Harry Potter mode, I created a Severus Snape character which my sister has been using, a Harry Potter complete w/green eyes and round spectacles, a red-haired Ron Weasley (or as close to red as possible) and a Hermione Granger :lol:.

I picked up the Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 and will be giving that to my hubby for his b-day. Yeah, I guess we've never grown up. :lol:

No, no place like home!! I grew up in Nalo but been in Ewa (soda creek) for a long time. I gotta say I don't think I miss the beach that much but man I miss Tasty's, L & L and manapua. LOL

I guess not having it is one of the best ways too lose weight.

Oh and DH is in military. This is the first station we had away from home he was lucky to get Hawai'i as his first duty station.

WII LOVE IT.

now i'm completely biased because i'm a gamer, and a nintendo gamer at that. wii all the way! there's a guy on the internet who lost like a gazillion pounds doing a "wii sports" only exercise routine. now that's bada$$.
the wii is an inexpensive, revolutionary console. i've played the same games on the wii and other systems, and the wii always wins out as a totally unique gaming experience, and its almost half the price of the other consoles, one of the reasons it won the console war this year (wii vs. xbox 360 vs. ps3, the latter definitely lost!)

anyway, wii sports is an invisible workout. you actually start to pant playing tennis, and you can feel it in your arms after a good boxing match.

when in doubt, go for the masters - nintendo.

also, for the lamenting guitar hero AND nintendo fans, don't worry. GH and DDR are both coming to the wii! YES!
