A note, though - if you are post obese and have lose skin, please don't buy a strapless dress. It will look like you have underarm fat when you don't. Luckily, it isn't too obvious in most of the pictures, and can be airbrushed out, but ugh. It'd be one thing if it was fat...but there ain't nothing there and it looks like a big fat roll!

OK, moving on.

The rain was sad, considering how gorgeous the greenery/backdrop outside was. Still, it was gorgeous inside...we got the fireplace going, and the arch really provided a good focal point. When I first learned it was going to rain, I'll admit it, I was pretty much crushed. But I just had to go with it. Plan B wasn't as pretty as Plan A, but we worked it out.

Actually, I was told that rain on your wedding is good luck! My mom and dad got married in February in a blizzard and they just celebrated 50 years...my sister got married in the rain...and my brother in a wind storm...both 25 years this year. So, consider the rain a good omen!!

I think thats just what they tell brides to try to console them about the fact that its raining on their wedding day...."its...um....good luck! Yeah! Thats right...its, um, lucky!"

That big black umbrella & the misty background really sets off you both in the foreground, along with your beautiful white dresses!

I thought rain on your wedding was a sign of good fertility or is that what the rice was a symbol of??? It may be silly, but I think all the folk lore is kind of fun. Anyway, I think the umbrella pictures are my favs (SO beautiful!)

Oooh and I love good food porn every now and then... The cake looks like it was really good!
